Alex Maine owner Bron Huessenstamm (: |
Last nite entrepreneur, athlete Bron Heussenstamm debuted his new all American Alex Maine men's wear store at 8025 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. Guests enjoyed American beverages and fun food courtesy of Ole Smoky Tennessee and Fat Burger. "Alex" means defender and "Maine" means homeland and the company stands up for the American economy by bringing textile jobs back to America, producing 100% of its product within the U.S. Bron grew up in the clothing business, is the grandson of a Pearl Harbor survivor and has 2 cousins currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. He is passionate about reversing the outsourcing of American jobs - in 2009 97% of U.S. clothing purchased was produced by foreign factories. Bron says "Patriotism and entrepreneurism are what this country was founded on, and the ability to merge them is an amazing feeling for all of us here at Alex Maine. Together, we can bring back jobs to this great country and that the United States can be a leader, not a follower, in fashion manufacturing. It's a shift in thinking that needs to happen. Hopefully, we can be a small catalyst to this shift, and we can have some fun doing it while wearing some exceptional clothing." Makes $en$e to me. You can also visit the company online at
