How Did Forensic Evidence and Genealogy Solve A Decades-Old Mystery?

50 years after Northwest Flight 4422 crashed in Alaska, a frozen human arm and hand was found in the wreckage by 2 commercial airline pilots.  It would take another ten years and a world class team of forensic specialists to make a positive identification of the remains. Author and forensic genealogist Colleen Fitzpatrick worked on the case and will talk about this amazing story Saturday, March 19th at 2pm in the Central Library's Mark Taper  Auditorium.
