Congratulations to acclaimed Tony Award winner and Oscar nominated thespian Hal Holbrook on receiving the prestigious Julie Harris Award for Lifetime Achievement at the 15th annual Actor's Fund Tony Awards party! The gala held at the westside's Skirball Center features the only approved live feed of the Tony Awards as they happen in New York City.  Mr. Holbrook received the award from his friend and colleage Sean Penn who directed him in the 2008 film "Into The Wild" garnering him an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.  Mr. Holbrook's first solo performance as Mark Twain was in 1954 and "Mark Twain Tonight!"  has since become perhaps the longest running show in theatre history.  The evening was well MC'd by the always gracious Marilu Henner aka the woman with the best memory in show business. This year's honorary celebrity committee included Linda Bloodsworth-Thomason, Carol Burnett, Phyllis Diller, Jerry Herman, Ken Howard, Judith Ivy, Angela Lansbury, Annie Potts, Brian Stokes-Mitchell, Holland Taylor, Harry Thomason and John Wells.
