In Celebration Of Black Music Month...Shaping The Sound Of Television - The Black Music Directors, California African American Museum (:

Deluxe catering by http://www.ccuisineconcepts.com/

Last nite award winning composer and musician Patrice Rushen moderated an extremely interesting panel featuring 6 of television's most celebrated and talented black music directors - Michael Bearden, Ray Chew, Rickey Minor, Greg Phillinganes, Harold Wheeler and James "Big Jim" Wright.  These gifted & hardworking music industry professionals are truly shaping the sound of television today.   The  event was held at the beautiful California African American Museum in Los Angeles and began with a great reception catered by Creative Cuisine Concepts  - being a foodie I have to say their food was exceptionally great.  The Next Twenty initiated the concept for the evening and brought it to AFTRA where it was further developed  and integrated into their entertainment partnership with the Beverly Hills/Hollywood NAACP who in turn reached out to the California African American Museum which then welcomed  support from the California Legislative Black Caucus. This unique one of a kind collaboration produced last nite's stellar evening enjoyed by the hundreds of people in attendance...  HH(:
